Our Adoption Journey

Flying to Da nang this morning.

WE are up and moving and heading to Da nang this morning. We had a long night with a story that will be very comical. We had brought an alarm clock with us and needed to be up this morning @3:30 so we can leave the hotel with the group @5. Our alarm went off and Dedra and I sprang into action. We showered and reorganized our luggage so that we did not take everything we brought for a short visit to Da nang. It was not until I went to put my watch on that we noticed that it was 2 hours earlier than we thought it to be. It seems that the electricty converter did not convert to the proper voltage and it made the clock go crazy! We tried to lay down, but at that point we were pretty much up for the duration. Hanna is very excited about seeing her little brother. She can't wait to snuggle up with Haden! Our flight leaves @6:20 this morning so keep up those prayers!

We need Granny's prayers in full force right now so please pass this on to her. The picture is an item that was on the menu at the resturant yesterday. The entree was under the Beef section. We have decided that from now on we will only eat shrimp!

Sure hope that you get some rest, but I am sure that you are not thinking about that at all...Hope that your flight is safe and I know that Haden is anxiously waiting for you all to hold, hug and love him!

Sending you our love, prayers and thoughts from San Diego.

Misti, Brumby, Windi & Michele

Good luck with those menus :-)

Everyone knows that Poppy and Mommaw do not eat venison......so needless to say camel would be completely out! I am glad you guys are paying attention.
Prayers continue as you go to meet your son/brother. As a child (MANY yars ago)I was taught that God has a specific family with whom He wants each child to be with...that is just how His plan works. This is proof of His Glory in that He took you all thousands of miles to claim this son that He has just for you.
Please send a picture when you can of Hanna and her little brother.
Love and Godspeed

Camel & Rib Eyes....that's not what we had last night. As we write this you are on your way to DaNang. You should be there within the hour. You'll have to let us know how travel on Vietnam Airlines is. Do they serve Camel on the plane also? Maybe this is a good time to break out those snacks. Did you find a way to watch any football? Dad watched the Capital One (What's in your wallet?) Bowl. You didn't miss anything. Alright, we're eagerly awaiting the next post. We're happy the pictures are coming through now. It will be great to see Hanna & Haden together.

Hopefully before it's time to come home ya'll will get it together. I hope Hanna at least got some sleep. Tell Dedra I am sure she has always wanted a little fried camel, it probably taste like chicken. Keeping you in my prayers.
Love ya,
Jamey

This is your friends from the Moose Elk Society of North High Point. We look forward to your safe return. The best thing to do on your return visit is to try to get your doctor to prescribe a PKP. This is slang for "pediatric knock out pill". It is all natural and should not have side effects. Haden and Hanna will sleep comfortably for 24 straight hours and wake up upon touch down in Charlotte. It works for us everytime..We Love You
The Moose Elks!!

Thanks for the update…I have a buddy here at work who has eaten camel, although, he did say it wasn’t fried…. he said it’s not bad as long as it is fresh…also if you run across any special needs there are several people from his church in Tulsa currently in Vietnam and the Vietnamese minister of Oil’s son goes to school at University of Tulsa and also attends his church…so we may be able to provide you with some assistance if needed…love you guys….
