Our Adoption Journey

Sunday, December 31, 2006

We have arrived in Hanoi. We are staying at a nice western style hotel, had hot showers, good food, and went to sleep. I woke up and decided that I would try to catch up. It is amazing here! Hanoi is very densely populated and scooter or mopeds are everywhere. There are 25 mopeds for every 1 car on the street. I will have pictures for you on the next blog. Dedra and Hanna are both doing well. We are going out tomorrow to meet the other families and go see some sites. Please continue to pray for all of us.

We Love You All,

Now maybe life will assume some sort of rhythm and normalacy for the next few weeks. It is amazing what a hot shower and sleep can cure when you are away from home!
Praises for God's presence and protection on the first travel part of your journey. We know He will continue to surround you.
It is 3:05 PM here on Sunday afternoon.....so in 9 hours Happy New Year to you all from Jamestown.
Love and Godspeed

I am so glad to know that you have finally arrived. I have almost wore the keys out on the computer checking in. We all prayed for you at church this morning and our pew felt empty without you. I hate to break the news to you but the Cowboys lost again. It's just not our year. Hope your stomach is feeling better and we are praying for you. Can't wait to see more pictures.
love you guys,
Jamey

Good moring, I hope you had a good nights rest. Jeff I am so sorry about your motion sickness.I personally know what that is like.Been there done that in the car, deep sea fishing and I really have to keep my mind wondering when I fly even short distances. The only cure I have found is sleeping as much as you can while in that circumstance.I don't rember who suggested GINGERALE but I just pulled out my natural remedies book and it has to try candied ginger,so there you go,thats why the gingerale helped. If that works it sur will be better than the medicine, know after effects.I guess i will close and not take up to much of your time having to read all this. I just can't wait for you three to get Haden.I can hardly hold back the tears every time I think about our new Grandson on the loving family he is going to have.Dedra I know like me you have always wanted another child. You are doing what I wanted to do when you were younger. So my dreams of have come true in another way thru you and Jeff.I think you and Jeff need to build a Mother and Mother-in-Law apartment.haha I'll check back in the morning our time to catch the next post.God bless and keep you safe and healthy. The cheesecake was great.Poppy said so and he has never liked cheesecake.
Miss and Love all of you so Much
