Our first morning in Hanoi! We had a rough night last night. It was New Years Eve for us last night and our floor must have been the party spot for the hotel. Hanna added to the excitement by getting sick and that had us up off and on all night. The good news is we woke this morning and all seem to be fine. We had a good breakfast and that at least lets us know that we will eat well in the mornings.
Happy Birthday Mom! We love you and hope you have a wonderful day! Jeff and Dedra
Hi nana, I hope that you have a happy birthday. Love Hanna
We are trying to find an adventure for the day. Two other families are here at the Hotel, one of the families have some sickness issues to deal with today so we are on our own.
New Years Day and no football games! What am I going to do?

Hello you all. It is 9:15 p.m. on New Years Eve. We have the usual group over here for New Years and we were talking about you all and decided to check for any updates. Tell Hanna we hope she feels better and we will pray for her. Kayla said she will be at the top of her prayers tonight. You all are on our prayer chain at church as well as this group here. We praise God you are there and we hope you enjoy your day. Happy New Years from all of us and we can't wait to hear from you all again!!
Miss you all.
Donald, Jennifer & Kayla
No football? In this day and age how can that be? Surely between the internet and satellite communications there is a way, even in Vietnam, to keep up.
I hope you find an appropriate adventure for today.
Thanks for keeping us informed.
Love,
Dad
I'm sorry to hear about Hanna. We certainly know your pain on that one. We will continue to pray for safe travel but will also pray for everyone to stay healthy. Enjoy your adventure. We love you!
Ya know, they are very big on football over there, it's just their football is our soccer.
Happy New Year!!!
PS: Hanna we hope you feel better soon.
