Our first night home was interesting. Dedra stayed awake all day on Thursday so that she could sleep and try to get herself adjusted to NC time. Haden on the other hand, decided that he was up at 1:30 am and he is still wide awake. The great news is he looks and acts like he is feeling much better. We have an appointment for him this morning with the pediatrician for a check just to make sure.
We have been worried about sibling rivalry showing its ugly head. What we didn't know was it would be the four legged sister that we would be the most jealous. If Haden is in one of our laps, Penny is trying to get in the other.
Hanna is doing great and the picture is of the four of them ready to head out to school. Dedra could be ready to field a few calls today, so give her a try.

I was wondering how Penny would do, good luck! Love the picture! Hopefully Dedra can catch a nap or two today, sleep deprivation! I remember those days all too well!
Oh my goodnes, I to remember those sleepless nights, and trying to be as productive as possible at home. Good luck sis!! Give Hanna and Haden lots of hugs and kisses from us!
love you all,
Amanda
Have a Happy Day, your first real day home. I have a feeling it won't be too long before Haden and Penny are best buds. Haden will be throwing the toys from his chair and Penny will be fetching them. What a great team. Miss Hanna is moving to the grown up princess position - She'll be having fun there. God Bless all of you as you transition into another stage of life. Love and Kisses. Great Granny Hicks says Hi.
I was talking to Dedra while I was typing to post and decided to change what I was saying,
She had got back from Hadens Dr appt. and the Dr said he sound good. This was probably RSV from the symptoms Dedra was giving him.He told her to make an appt. for 1 wk. and if he was over this he would start his immunizations. He didn't want to start today because he was just getting over the RSV.
Haden never went back to sleep this morning. The poor little guy has really got his days and nights mixed. He is still running on Vietnam time. She said he took a nice nap and she was now trying to keep him awake until later so maybe he would sleep tonight. He really was not liking his new schedule. He kind of fussing at her.ha
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. It was great that they had a little Welcome Home Coming from some of there dear friends. Even though it was so early in the morning.
Love and Miss All of You
