4 am Jamestown time and I just confirmed that Dedra and Haden are going to the airport for the 7:10 departure on Cathay Pacific. They fly to Hong Kong and begin to run against the clock. Hong Kong is one hour back from Hanoi so they fly 2 hours but it will be 10 pm when they land. They have a quick turn around and will leave Hong Kong @ 11:40 pm. The flight to LAX will be around 12 hours depending on the wind speeds in the jet stream. They will land in LAX Wednesday night @8pm. They will then take the inter terminal bus to terminal 1 for the 10:45 US Airways flight that should land in Charlotte @ 6 am.
If all goes well they will be eating breakfast with us Thursday morning!!! I am so thankful for this. It is truly a testament to Gods glory and the answer to many prayers. They still must travel half way around the world, but I am praying that God will have a hedge of protection around them.
This could be the longest day of my life!!!!!!!

The prayers won't stop and neither will God's hand of control in all of this.
Dedra will definitely get her second wind now....and as precious as Haden is there will be no shortage of helping hands on any of the planes should she need them.
Praise God and Godspeed on this last leg of this amazing journey in faith

It has been an amazing trip and the whole adoption story is a testament to God's goodness.

As this is written, it is 10 PM in Hong Kong. We've thanked God for sending his Ministering Angels to surround Dedra and Haden all day (night) today. We pray also for God to give Jeff the strength that he needs to make the decisions that he has to make today and to give him peace as he waits. This is a life changing experience and it will be exciting to see the "fruit" it has produced in your life.
It is 10:40 AM here in Jamestown....so that means 11:40 PM in Hong Kong....which should mean that all of these prayers are lifting that plane effortlessly into the sky headed for LAX.

I guess all this ice froze my keyboard up. I was unable to get it to work last night or this morning. For some reason my computer doesn't recongnize the key board at times and I have to unplug it from the CPU and back in and it works just fine.
Jeff thank you for keeping all of you family and friends updated.I hesitate to call you as I know you are having to handle a lot of extra chores and schedules that you are not normaly doing.I trust that Hanna is doing okay at this point. I know we all want Dedra at home where she and Haden can get some much needed rest.He probably doesn't need to be out and about for a while when he gets home, as it will be easy for him to catch something else for a while.
I keep forgeting to tell you that Grumpy and Meme have called several times and asked about you and Haden. I just got off the phone with them this morning(8:15am) wanting the phone number to the Clinic.Meme was going to call.I told her you were on your way home.
I sure am glad that Jeff posted this morning or she would have made a call for nothing.
The weather here is terrible. I thought I would get out this morning and go to the store etc..but I dont know if I want to risk it.We have had sleet,rain, snow and back to sleet this morning.Our porch never did thaw out from Sundays blast of everything.We probably have about 1 or 2 inches of sleet,ice and snow on the ground right now. All the schools in the DFW area are closed except Dallas.Even Lake Dallas schools are closed and you know its bad if they close.
I'm so glad Haden is much better keep him warm and keep us posted as you can on your way home.I guess you have your cell phone with you.If not please call me as soon as you get to a phone in the USA!!!!!! I trust Jeff will keep us posted too.
