Good Morning All,
Well, I am at the hotel right now for a few minutes. Woke up this morning in a great mood and the sun is actually trying to come out here. Yipee! I will have the nurses look after Haden several times today so I can step outside and enjoy it. Haden is doing so much better. He is acting like himself, staying awake a lot and smiling. He has the sweetest personality. He still does not want to eat. They are still giving him the IV with fulid and nutrients. He is also still not getting enough oxygen to be able to fly. He is fine on the ground although his levels still need to rise but he could be compromised in the air. He is getting breathing treatments every 6 hours now instead of every 4. They did lower the fluid they are giving him today. The doctor said they will assess him after lunch and see if we can at least come back to the hotel. There is a possibility that we will not be able to leave tomorrow. I will let everyone know as soon as I know something. I am fine and know that God started this journey, it is his will and in his time he will complete the journey. The doctors and staff at the clinic are just wonderful. The food on the other hand is not. :) Keep praying for us. We love you all and can't wait to be home. When I get another chance to come back and send another blog I will send pictures. If you want to e-mail me my address is dedrah@earthlink.net. Remember that I won't get it until I am at the hotel so be patient.
Much Love, Hugs and Kisses.
Dedra

Good Morning from South Texas,
What good news. You sound so much stronger and back to yourself again. Thank God. Haden is bouncing back just as we knew he would and each day will be better than yesterday. You are such an awesome woman, Dedra. I just can't tell you enough how much we love you and how proud we are of you. You do great justice to our family. Your Dad is smiling as he watches over you and Haden. I'm also so pleased that Haden is in great medical hands.
A beautiful day for you today. Or probably already your tomorrow. The sunshine somehow refreshes and renews us after blustery days and trying times. One of God's many gifts to us.
Everyone here at home has you and Haden, Jeff and Hanna in their prayers and we can't wait for you all to be reunited at home. Also can't wait to see Hanna and Haden so I can hug them to pieces. Believe it or not, I mailed the package last Friday so Haden will have an expanded wardrobe waiting for him at home. What are his weight and height now? He has certainly grown since our first pictures. I know he's lost a little weight from being sick but he'll gain that back in a flash when he's feeling better. I'm just curious as to long he's gotten. Sure hope all the clothes will still fit him.
Please remember that you are never alone and that the one pair of footsteps in the sand are those of the Lord as he carried you through your trials. It's my all time favorite writing and it is absolutely the truth.
Jeff and Hanna, you are in our thoughts and prayers and I know you are getting settled in and anxiously awaiting Mom and Haden. We love you all and I pray God's hand to tenderly hold you and keep you.
Love and hugs, Aunt/Graunty Vivi
What wonderful news. I know it must seem good to see a little sunshine. I am glad you are getting out and making time for yourself. It makes things easier to deal with when you are refreshed. I'm glad to hear Haden is getting back to his old self and hopefully he will start eating better real soon. I am still praying that you are able to come home on Wed. as planned. We are so missing you.
Love ya,
Jamey
Faith is to believe what we do not see,and the reward of this faith is to see what we have believed.
