Now if we could only get a Ticket we could get out of here!We have had our second meeting with the US Embassy and we should be getting a visa for Haden @ 2pm on Friday. Now if our travel agent can find a seat for Dedra on our flight from Hanoi to Hong Kong, we have seats open the rest of the way home and we can all travel together! Please pray that Todd would find something today so that Dedra does not have to try to make it by herself with Haden. I would also ask that you all pray for the families that are here with the second group of babies. All of their babies are now sick with the change from the mountains in the North to Hanoi.
We will update as soon as we know something!

Praise the Lord!! This just shows he is still in control and we have to continue to have faith in him. We will continue to pray for Haden and the other children as well as for Dedra to be able to get a flight back with you and Hanna. We are so excited that the time has come for you all to come home. We have missed you all and can't wait to see you soon. May God continue to bless you during your journey.

This has been like going thru 9 mos of pregnancy and childbirth! Yall are hero's, seriously! And what a prize you have too! Keep up the good spirits, it's almost over!
God is always reminding us when we try to do things on our own that He is still in charge. We have faith that a seat will become available...even if it is at the last possible moment.
You all allowing all of us to experience this with you is awesome. May you feel God's protection and presence now even more than ever.

How many times have you ever had to fly stand-by? Don't ask Jen that question. Maybe there's another passenger who would trade...Anyway, get a good night's sleep if you can, tomorrow will be another day. Everyone is praying.
Well I don't know what just happened but I signed in and sent my post and all of a suden I get this error message that it had failed and all fields need to be filled.All the fields were filled out and it erased my post.
I'll keep it short this time. We will continue to follow you Today to see if our prayers have been answered.I really hope you get to come home together as it will be so heplful with Haden this trip.I don't know ablut you but I really hate for Dedra to stay there by herself with Haden.

See I knew things would come together. Jeff just remember cash is always a good bargaining tool, maybe someone for a little extra cash would take a later flight. Do what you have to do. We will continue to pray for all the babies to get better soon. I am so excited to know that hopefully in just a few more days you will all be home. Oh by the way just in case you forgot, Monday is Martin Luther King holiday so at least Hanna will get an extra day to rest up before going back to school. Praying that all works out for you and you will soon be back in NC.

Did the doctors give you any medicine for Haden? If not he may have a real rough ride home.We will all pray that you make it home and to your doctor so he doesn't get any worse.Dedra just be careful with getting him the air.You might want to keep his head and face covered you get out.

Hello Hicks Family - Mom, Dad and Lisa are right. We are anxiously awaiting a posting. Your North Carolina friends would like to know when you will be arriving in Charlotte. We have tried figuring it out, whether it will be Saturday or Sunday, but the time change keeps messing us up. Please let us know if you can, what Airlines you are coming into Charlotte on and what time. In the mean time, we'll keep praying!!!
